Key Considerations
  • Share things such as conversations with alumni, friends and donors about university connections, philanthropic gifts, donated items (gifts-in-kind), areas of interest or other important updates. 
  • Upon submission, you can enter another report if you have multiple contacts to share. 
  • Preferred contact information can be updated here if you receive updated email addresses, mobile phone numbers, etc.  
  • Timeliness matters! The longer you wait before submitting the information, the greater the chance of another interaction occurring. 
  • Sharing information is helpful in giving our constituents the best experience. 
Step-By-Step Guide

  • Fill out or ask a staff member in your area to fill out the contact entry form for any conversation that takes place with an alumni, donor or friend.

Who receives the information I submit?
The DPAE data team processes all submissions and updates official Banner records. 

Why do I have to do this?
Sharing information is helpful in giving our constituents the best experience. Many people have multiple Kent State relationships. It ensures each Kent State University staff member has the full picture of the constituent. It can also prevent frustration from constituents who have previously shared information or updates that should have been documented/recorded, such as name changes, marital status, death of a loved one, etc.
