Veterans Day Commemoration

Each year, the Kent State community comes together to honor the courage, sacrifice and service of those who have worn our nation’s uniform. This moving outdoor ceremony, also livestreamed for those who can’t attend in person, offers a moment of reflection and gratitude. After the ceremony, guests are invited to an appreciation lunch in the Kent Student Center. The day concludes with a touching act of remembrance: planting daffodil bulbs behind Taylor Hall to honor the U.S. service members who lost their lives in the Vietnam War.
