Walk Your Pup on National Dog Day

This event already has occurred.

Wednesday, August 26, 2020 (All day)

Off Campus

You may not be able to bring your furry friend to campus for Dog Days of Summer but Kent State still wants to celebrate Golden Flash pups on National Dog Day. Wear your Kent State gear (and even dress up your pup) and walk your dog on August 26.

We would love to see photos of your cute pup and where you walked so make sure to share on social media with #FlashesForever. This is just another excuse to spend some quality time with your favorite furry friend and show your Kent State pride.

While on your walk, take your love for dogs one step further and support the Kent State K-9 Program Fund. Kent State's K-9 officers, Coco and Dexter, along with their handlers, Officers Anne Spahr and Miguel Witt, play integral roles in the safety and security of Kent State University, the surrounding community, and all of Ohio.

All donations directly support K9's Coco and Dexter, helping with necessary training, equipment, food and medical care.
