Volunteer Position(s) with KSUAA: I have been volunteering for 10 years and currently serve as the Black Alumni Chapter student engagement & young alumni chair.

Why is volunteering with KSUAA important to you? What motivates you to volunteer? 
I love Kent State because I had a great educational experience there and made lifelong friends. 

Why did you choose to attend Kent State?
It was close enough to home but far enough that I could stay on campus. 

What are your favorite memories at Kent State?
Some of my favorite memories revolve around attending many campus events with KSU friends. 

What were you involved in as a student? 
I was involved with Total Grace Organization, The Tri-Towers Connection and Black United Students. 

Why did you decide to volunteer after graduating?
I want others to consider attending KSU so they can have the same great experience I had. 

What is your favorite event you participated in as a volunteer?
Homecoming is always great. 

What is your proudest accomplishment(s) as a volunteer?
I am happy that I have been able to encourage other KSU Alumni to get involved throughout the years. 

What advice would you share with someone looking to volunteer with KSUAA?
It is rewarding and fun. It is an awesome experience and you are able to connect with other KSU Alumni.
