Kent State’s Contributions to Neuroscience: Past, Present & Future

 

The 2022 Neuroscience Symposium will be held Oct. 27-28 at Kent State University. This two-day program will celebrate Kent State’s unique contributions to our understanding of the brain and nervous system and to solving the riddle of brain disease. Featured presenters include distinguished KSU faculty and alumni. These neuroscience leaders will share their research and expand upon their career paths and choices they made that contributed to their success. 

Evening reception, breakfast and lunch are included.

Registration is free and open to all.

Abstract Submission and Poster Session Information

  • Submission Deadline is Thursday, October 20.
  • All neuroscience topics are acceptable.
  • Posters and easels will be provided.
  • Poster/easel size is 36 (tall) X 48 (wide).
  • You are responsible for printing your own presentation poster.
  • Maximum character length – 2300 characters.
  • The poster session is during our reception following the keynote address – 6:30-8:30pm on Thursday, October 27.
  • All presenters will receive a number.  Odd numbers are to present to judges from 6:30-7:30pm.  Evens from 7:30-8:30pm.
  • Poster awards will be presented after the speaker sessions on Friday, October 28, at approximately 3:30pm.
