Dean Spake“The new business building will inspire collaborative learning by connecting business students from all over the world with internationally acclaimed faculty and business leaders. This space will allow our students from all over the world to become tomorrow’s leading business graduates as they shape the global economy of the future in Ohio and around the world.”
- Deborah Spake, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Business Administration

Kent State’s College of Business Administration is a training ground for global business leaders who will transform their future industries across every aspect of society. Our rankings are soaring, and our teaching practices are more collaborative than ever – highlighting a need for a larger, tech-forward, interactive space on campus. We are the largest provider of business graduates in Northeast Ohio, which positions Kent State as a hub for business innovation in the Midwest and around the world. The College has prepared business alumni to ascend to careers in the C-suites of America’s top global companies like FedEx, McKesson and R R Donnelly. A new building will support our community in Northeast Ohio and ultimately champion Kent State as a global beacon of business innovation.

The College of Business Administration building is part of the university’s Gateway to a Distinctive Kent State, a $1-billion master plan to transform the Kent Campus and improve facilities over 10 years.
