Make A Difference Day

National Make a Difference Day is the most encompassing national day of helping others, as millions of Americans rally in a single day of action to help change the world. Kent State's Make a Difference Day event will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2023.

A number of opportunities will be available for Kent State community members to make an impact.

We'll begin with a brief welcoming program in the Center for Undergraduate Excellence (CUE) KeyBank Student Success Lounge with light refreshments to get your day started, and then we'll dismiss each group to the site where you have volunteered to serve. Following your time serving, we'll return to the CUE, eat some lunch, and discuss the group's collective impact. 

Students, faculty, and staff are welcome, and transportation and meals are provided. Take a few hours on the 28th to make a positive contribution to our community, meet some new people, and join other folks across the country as we make our world a better place!
