For decades, biologists researching a cure for Alzheimer’s disease have remained in the dark almost as much as the ailment’s victims. A Kent State University professor, however, is looking to stop the disease before it starts.
Kent State University will hold its Summer 2016 Commencement ceremony for the Kent Campus on Saturday, Aug. 20, at the Memorial Athletic and Convocation Center.
Each summer, 15 female high school students receive a free, three-day camp experience through the Nikki Kukwa Memorial Aviation Fund and Kent State University’s College of Applied Engineering, Sustainability and Technology.
Three Kent State University at Salem students planned summer writing workshops for area kids, teaching youngsters how to travel to far off places through writing and by using their imaginations.
