Kent State University President Beverly J. Warren presented 13 Kent State faculty members with the 2018 President’s Faculty Excellence Award.
Their remarkable work takes place in studios, classrooms, laboratories and outdoors. They have been published in prestigious journals, authored books and received significant research grants. Now, they add a new honor to their list of notable achievements.
The Chautauqua Institution will feature the Kent State University Wick Poetry Center’s Traveling Stanzas exhibit in its new Poetry Makerspace this summer.

The Kent State University Hotel and Conference Center is lit up at night, welcoming visitors to downtown Kent. The hotel marked its fifth anniversary this past June.
More than 100,000 rooms reserved, nearly 146,000 guests served, more than 2,000 events hosted and 89 weddings booked.
