Lunchtime Bike Ride Takes Place July 18

Bring your bike from home or check out a bike through the Flashfleet bike-sharing program at one of eight locations around the Kent Campus. Flashfleet locations include the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Eastway Center, Van Campen Hall, Tri-Towers, Terrace Hall, Stopher-Johnson, the Kent Student Center and PARTA in downtown Kent.

The lunchtime ride will take place on Tuesday, July 18, from noon-1 p.m. Chris John from Kent State’s Department of Recreational Services will lead us on a 30- to 40-minute campus ride, as well as around the surrounding community. Please plan to meet at noon at the Flashfleet kiosk at the Kent Student Center, and we will begin our ride promptly at 12:10 p.m.

For your planning purposes, additional rides will take place on Aug. 8 and Sept. 12. This is a great way to enjoy our beautiful campus, get some exercise and moves in, and earn 10 Wellness Your Way Tier Two points. An Employee Wellness team member will be present for employees to sign in prior to the start of the ride.

Registration is required and limited for the safety of the group. Helmets from home are strongly recommended. If you have questions, you may email John at cjohn4@kent.edu.
