The 31st Annual Ohio Employee Ownership Conference, hosted by Kent State University’s Ohio Employee Ownership Center (OEOC), drew more than 330 participants from 15 states to the Akron/Fairlawn Hilton on April 28.

Peter C. Kratcoski Sr., Department of Sociology at Kent State University at Stark, authored “Policing: Continuity and Change,” a section of the book Global Issues in Contemporary Policing. The work focuses on global issues in policing, including those pertaining to specialization, education and training, leadership, corruption, discrimination and response to catastrophic events such as natural disasters and terrorism.
