Wellness Workshop: Genetically Modified Organisms

Did you know the leading cause of death is heart disease and that 80 percent of it is preventable? That is why it is so important to love your heart – everyday!

On Thursday, April 19, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., you can learn ways to love your heart and reduce your risk of heart disease through nutrition.

The presenter will be Tanya R. Falcone, M.S., RD, LD, coordinator of Kent State University’s Center of Nutrition Outreach in the School of Health Sciences. This session will be held in the Student Recreation and Wellness Center, Seminar Room A. This session is open to students and all full- and part-time faculty and staff. Registration is required.   

For full-time, benefits-eligible employees participating in the Wellness Your Way program, this session will be worth 10 points towards your Tier Two total.
