• Funds are limited and not guaranteed, even if a student meets the eligibility requirements.

• A student must demonstrate financial need as determined by the results of the 2026-2027 FAFSA to qualify for Federal Work Study.

• A student attending the Kent campus may request an eligibility review and possible awarding of Federal Work Study by completing this online form: 2026 Kent Campus Federal Work Study Request Form - Summer
• A  student attending a regional campus may begin to contact the financial aid office at their respective Kent State regional campus regarding a federal work study award for summer 2026, fall 2026 and spring 2027.
