LABOR CONDITION APPLICATION

In accordance with 20 CFR § 655.734, Kent State University is required to provide notice that a Labor Condition Application (LCA) for H-1B Nonimmigrant Alien Worker has been filed by Kent State University with the United States Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, United States Employment Service Certifying Officer. The labor condition application pertinent to the employment positions listed herein are available for public inspection in the Office of General Counsel. 

Complaints alleging misrepresentation of material facts in the labor condition application and/or failure to comply with the terms of the labor condition application may be filed with any office of the Wage and Hour Division of the United States Department of Labor.

NOTICE OF FILING OF LABOR CONDITION APPLICATION FOR H-1B NONIMMIGRANT

Notice is hereby given that a Labor Condition Application (LCA) for H-1B Nonimmigrant Alien Worker has been filed by Kent State University with the United States Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, United States Employment Service Certifying Officer. In that connection, we attest to the following: 

• That the university is seeking to employ one nonimmigrant H-1B alien worker.
• That such nonimmigrant alien worker will be employed in the position or occupational classification of Instructor.
• That the salary or remuneration to be paid to the nonimmigrant alien worker in the Occupational Classification Group 090 is approximately $43.33 per hour.
• That the nonimmigrant alien worker employed in the above position will be employed part-time for a period of 06/24/24-08/11/24.
• That the nonimmigrant will be employed at:

  • Campus address: 132 S. Lincoln St., Kent, Ohio 44240
  • Building: (if applicable): John Elliot Center for Architecture and Environmental Design
  • Additional Location (if applicable): N/A
