Graduate Student Senate offers awards to assist graduate with travel, both domestically and internationally, and conducting research.
Award Applications for the 2023-2024 Academic Year are open and eligibility can be reviewed here in our attendance records.
THE APRIL 2024 SCA IS CLOSED, ALL SCA FUNDING ALLOCATED FOR SPRING 2024 HAS BEEN DISTRIBUTED. WE ARE WORKING TO RAPIDLY FIND ALTERNATE FUNDS TO RE-OPEN THE SCA FOR APRIL.
Award Deadlines for 2023 - 2024
▸ Domestic Travel Award
Graduate students may receive one DTA per semester, although preference will be given to new applicants (i.e., those who have not applied in a previous semester in the same academic year). The DTA covers travel throughout the entire 2023-2024 academic year. For this and more information, follow the above link to find the DTA guidelines.

▸ Special Contingency Award
THE MARCH 2024 SCA IS CLOSED, ALL SCA FUNDING ALLOCATED FOR SPRING 2024 HAS BEEN DISTRIBUTED. WE ARE WORKING TO RAPIDLY FIND ALTERNATE FUNDS TO RE-OPEN THE SCA FOR APRIL.
Graduate students may receive one Special Contingency Award per graduate program. This award is scheduled on a rolling basis, opening the first Friday of the month and closing on the last Friday of the month.
