Please give a short overview of your research.

I have done research on the mechanochemical interactions between carbon nanotubes and DNA as well as research into the microwave spectrum of proline methyl ester.

What made you choose to pursue your graduate degree here at Kent State?

I believe that the partnership between Kent State, NEOMED, and the Cleveland Clinic give me access to many opportunities to broaden my horizons and expand my possible research options.

What do you enjoy most about attending Kent State for graduate school?

The campus is very spacious and beautiful, it allows me to clear my head and relax more easily.

What are your future goals?

I want to become a researcher after I graduate.

What does this award mean to you and how will it aid you?

This award means a lot to me as it will allow me to focus on my goal achieving my Ph.D. without having to worry as much about expenses.
