Where is your hometown?

I am an international graduate student at Kent State University from Sri Lanka.

Why did you decide to come to Kent State?

I decided to study here because of the collaborative nature of Kent State University’s biomedical sciences program as well as the diversity that Kent State offers.

What is your favorite place in Kent?

My favorite place is the Cuyahoga River in downtown Kent.

What advice do you have for new graduate students? 

Be driven to grab every opportunity to learn something new.

What do you enjoy doing in your free time?

I enjoy hiking with my friends and binge-watching shows about travel and street food.
