    Biography

    Rex Hughes is an alumnus of Kent State’s MLIS program and has been an adjunct instructor for the program since 2013. He also has a B.A. in English Literature and World Religions from Capital University. He regularly teaches LIS 60030: People in the Information Ecology and LIS 60020: Information Organization. Previously, he has worked as a contract cataloger with OCLC Headquarters, a special collections cataloging associate with the Ohio State University, and a Metadata and Cataloging Library with North Dakota State University. He is currently a Cataloging and Metadata Librarian at Swarthmore College, located near Philadelphia, PA.
