Zach Mikrut is the Program Manager at Kent State's LaunchNET, a program that assists students, faculty/staff and alumni with starting businesses. Zach is responsible for managing and coordinating the operational activities of the program including consulting, entrepreneurial tools, staffing, and collaborating with other university stakeholders. He was previously the Senior Marketing Manager and helped to create entrepreneurial events including throwing students in elevators for a pitch competition and the Fashion Tech Hackathon (the only collegiate wearable tech hackathon in the nation).
Prior to LaunchNET, Zach gained professional experience with Vocus and Canon Business Solutions and is a graduate of Kent State's managerial Marketing and Entrepreneurship programs. Zach can be found across the NEO region speaking on marketing yourself or your business, crowdfunding, and how to tear it up at karaoke.
