On Sept. 17, 2021, we were thrilled to host Herrick Society members for our annual appreciation luncheon. Held outside at the Center of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement on the Kent campus, the day was filled with glorious weather, wonderful food, and most importantly, time spent together once again: 74 Herrick Society members attended, along with their guests and Kent State staff.
Marking its 15th year, the luncheon featured guest speaker, J.R. Campbell, executive director of the Design Innovation Initiative, who delivered to guests his engaging and insightful presentation, “Building Fearless Collaborators Through Design Innovation.”
The Herrick Society recognizes the nearly 1,000 individuals and couples who have made a planned gift to support the university, which is critical in helping us support our students from the day they are accepted until the day they cross the commencement stage, diploma in hand, and forge ahead in a Flash of brilliance.
