Nancy Ruth Conn Terjesen, age 81, of Akron, OH, passed away on Oct. 11, 2025. She was born in 1943, in Lorain, OH, to the late Esther and Wayne Conn. She graduated from Lorain High School in 1961. She graduated from Baldwin Wallace College with a bachelor's degree, then Kent State University with a master's degree and the University of Akron with a J.D. She taught sociology at Kent State University and the University of Akron for many years. Together with her caring husband of 52 years, Barry, they enjoyed visiting their two children and five grandchildren across the country and sometimes around the world. Nancy had a very inquisitive mind and was a life-long learner. She tremendously enjoyed quilting, reading about 50 books a year, organizing book clubs, genealogy and antiques. She lived a life with a determination that health concerns weren't going to control her.
