Students who apply, are admitted and enroll in the Honors College are eligible for the amounts listed with the superscript “H” in table above. Scholarship amounts in the chart may include the Honors College and/or Trustee Scholarship.  The Honors Scholarship amount included in the totals range from $1,000 to $5,000. Students will receive a detailed scholarship offer letter after they are admitted to Kent State University. 

To be considered for new freshmen scholarships at the Kent Campus, you must be a U.S. citizen, a full-time student and submit a complete application for admission (including high school transcript, ACT or SAT scores and application fee) by Feb. 1, 2019.  December 2018 is the last acceptable ACT/SAT test date for scholarship consideration.

Scholarship offers and award amounts will be determined by official testing and high school transcript information submitted to Kent State University at the time of application. 

Additionally, students who submit a complete application for admission to Kent State by Feb. 1, 2019 will be considered for the scholarship programs listed below.
