OSCAR RITCHIE MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP

This $3,000 Kent Campus scholarship is available to incoming African-American, Native American, Hispanic or Latino high school seniors with a 3.0 minimum high school cumulative GPA and a 20 ACT composite or 1060 SAT total score.

FOUNDERS SCHOLARSHIP

The Founders Scholarship program is extremely competitive with a limited number of awards available each year. Students must have a 4.0 cumulative high school GPA and a minimum 32 ACT / 1420 SAT score.

Honors Residence Scholarship

This scholarship ranges from $500-$1000 and will be applied to any on-campus residence hall charge. Students must apply, be admitted, and enroll in the Honors College to be eligible for this award.

SCHOLARSHIP MATCH

Diverse group of students at Commencement

The Kent Campus Freshman and Sophomore Scholarship Match Programs will match any outside scholarship that an eligible incoming freshman or sophomore brings to Kent State for the fall semester or the academic year, up to a total of $1,000. Students must submit the Scholarship Match Application.
