Immunization Requirement

All students must provide proof of MMR vaccination to avoid future registration holds.

Incoming freshmen are eligible to use University Health Services over summer for immunizations.

Services Offered

Insurance & Billing

DeWeese Health Center is a primary care PPO provider for insurance plans including Aetna, Anthem BC/BS, CIGNA, Medical Mutual of Ohio, UnitedHealthcare, and many others. Copays, deductibles, and other patient responsibility amounts apply and vary by insurance plan. A reasonable self-pay rate is also available. Payments can be made via cash, check, credit/debit card (including HSA and flex spending cards), FlashCash, or through the KSU Student Account.

Student Insurance

Student health insurance is available through United HealthCare Student Resource. Enrollment in the student health insurance plan is mandatory for international students but is voluntary for domestic students. Domestic students do not need to waive the student insurance and will not automatically be billed for it.
