About Me

My curiosity to learn about the world began at an early age; I was the only student from my high school to study abroad and the first in my family to be on an airplane. As a first generation college student, I worked tirelessly to access study abroad opportunities again during my college career and during my graduate studies. I earned my graduate degree from Kent State and have called KSU home since 2011. I love being a part of the Kent State international community and enjoy learning new things about the world each day.

    I love belonging to such an expansive KSU global community. There's nothing better than meeting KSU alumni and friends around the world!

Fun Facts

    I prefer to travel without a daily itinerary. I love going somewhere new, meeting locals, and asking them where their favorite places are to explore.
