Additional Donation Opportunities

Below is a list of donations funds that are available that helps support various Recreation and Wellness Services programs and services. 

  • Don Lumley Ice Hockey Support Fund (31033)
    The fund shall be used to support the Kent State University Ice Hockey Program administered by Recreation and Wellness Services within the Division of Student Life. Funds may be used to support programming expenses, including but not limited to student participation fees, equipment, and ice hockey facility improvement.
  • Kent State of Wellness Director Endowment (31035)
    This fund shall be used to support Kent State of Well-being positions administered by Recreation and Wellness Services within the Division of Student Life. The funds shall be used to recruit and retain candidates for Kent State of Well-being positions by providing competitive compensation. These positions will specifically support the Kent State of Well-being initiative.
  • Kent State of Wellness Program Fund (31036)
    This fund shall be used to support Kent State of Well-being programming administered by Recreation and Wellness Services within the Division of Student Life to reinforce the university’s commitment to maintain a sustainable well-being program. The fund will support projects, programs, and policies as well as foster synergies and coordination among the groups and programs that support health and well-being at Kent State University.
  • RecWell Student Development Fund (11581)
    Former Rec Services Brick Fund
    This fund shall be used to support student employees of Recreation and Wellness Services, a department within the Division of Student Life. The fund will provide support for student employees with tuition, books, supply enhancements, and student professional development.
  • SRWC Brick Camp Quasi Endowment Fund (21581)
    This shall be used to support student employees of Recreation and Wellness Services, a department within the Division of Student Life. The fund will provide support for student employees with tuition, books, supply enhancements, and student professional development.
  • Rec Services Club Sports (11030)
    The fund shall be used to support the Club Sports Program administered by Recreation and Wellness Services, a department within the Division of Student Life. The fund will be used to support Club Sports Alumni Day expenses, tournament and travel expenses, equipment or uniform purchases, or other expenses deemed appropriate by the Club Sports Director.
  • Rec Service Club Sports - Men's Rugby Club (11032)
    The fund shall be used to support the Men’s Rugby Club administered by Recreation and Wellness Services, a department within the Division of Student Life. The fund will be used to support Alumni Day expenses, tournament and travel expenses, equipment or uniform purchases, or other expenses deemed appropriate by the Club Sports Director.
  • Recreational Services Quasi Endowment Fund (31583)
    The fund shall be used to support programs, services, and facilities which furthers the mission of Recreation and Wellness Services as determined necessary by the Assistant Dean of Students, Recreation and Wellness Services a department within the Division of Student Life.
  • Recreational Services Support Fund (10630)
    The fund shall be used to support Recreation and Wellness Services staff professional development as well as special equipment and supply purchases as determined necessary by the Assistant Dean of Students, Recreation and Wellness Services to support the department mission.
  • Steve Albert Ice Hockey Program Fund (14104)
    The fund shall be used to support the Kent State University Ice Hockey Program administered by Recreation and Wellness Services within the Division of Student Life. The fund’s purpose is to provide financial resources to defray student Ice Hockey participation fees and related expenses and support the promotion and marketing of the Ice Hockey program through the development of sports broadcasting experiences in collaboration with the School of Journalism and Mass Communication.
