How to Print Your Certificate: Alternative Instructions

The date of completion on your certificate must match the day you actually completed the learning activity. Saving the original PDF file will not save your date of completion. If you are unable to print the certificate, please follow this guide below to print it as a PDF file.

Click on your Operating System

Windows 10

  1. Open the certificate attachment
  2. Type your name into the blue box under "This is to certify that"
  3. Go to "File" -> "Print"
  4. Choose "Microsoft Print to PDF" as your printer
  5. Your certificate will print as a PDF file

Windows 7, 8, 8.1

Note: This method requires you to have the Google Chrome browser installed on your computer.

  1. Download the certificate attachment to your Desktop
  2. Open a new window in Google Chrome (  -> "New Window")
  3. Locate the certificate file on your Desktop
  4. Click on the certificate file and drag it into the new Google Chrome window
  5. Type your name into the blue box under "This is to certify that"
  6. Go to   -> "Print"
  7. On the left-hand side, locate the "Destination" option. Then, click the "Change" button.
  8. Click on "Save as PDF" 
  9. Click the "Save" button - your certificate will print as a PDF file

Mac OS X

  1. Open the certificate attachment
  2. Type your name into the blue box under "This is to certify that"
  3. Go to "File" -> "Print"
  4. Select "PDF" at the bottom-left corner and then click "Save as PDF"
  5. Save the PDF to your computer
