2018 KENT STATE FOUNDATION GRANT PROGRAM APPLICATION

Kent State University has set an aggressive agenda for academic excellence across all areas of the university's Strategic Roadmap. The Kent State Foundation Board supports this agenda fully, and is committed to providing annual funds in support of the university's academic excellence agenda. With this goal in mind, the Kent State Foundation is pleased to offer a system-wide grant program to all departments, schools, colleges, institutes and centers. The Foundation Board has approved a budget of $100,000 in grant funds to be awarded during the 2018 fiscal year. It is possible the Foundation Board of Directors will request that programs receiving a grant match a portion of the funds awarded.

All submitted applications will be reviewed by the Foundation Board's Standing Committee on Grants of the Foundation Board, and each grant recipient will be required to submit a report on the use of the funds to the Kent State University Foundation Board.

There are no restrictions on these awards, and requests may be up to $100,000. Grants will be made to projects that have an impact on the quality of education offered to the students of all Kent State University campuses.

The application deadline is December 20, 2017.
