Please join us for the 2nd Annual Northeast Ohio Presidents' Cup, a day with Northeast Ohio's leading public universities: The University of Akron, Kent State University and Youngstown State University. The day will begin with a Ryder Cup Style golf tournament teeing off at 11:30 am. 

Following the tournament will be a catered dinner at the beautiful Avalon Golf and Country Club. Following dinner will be an open forum style presentation by university Presidents, Dr. Beverly Warren and Jim Tressel. The forum will discuss the schools' continued ambitions to collaborate and create a new standard for Ohio's higher education. 

This Ryder Cup style tournament is structured for fun competition between all three institutions. The first six holes will be played one of two best ball format; the next six holes will be a two person scramble; and the remaining six will be modified alternate shot of twosome. At registration, each golfer will receive a polo to wear during the tournament to display their designated school. 

The monies raised from this event will be divided between the three schools to be used for scholarship assistance. This one-of-a-kind evening is for fellowship between communities and supporters of our local universities. We look forward to having you be a part of this exclusive event.
