Engagement Center

Have you received a call from 330-672-0202 recently? Don’t be shy, that’s a current Kent State student calling you!

The Kent State Engagement Center, housed within the Division of Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement, is a resource for the Golden Flash family helping alumni and friends stay connected with the university, learn what’s new at KSU and how to become involved, no matter how near or far life may have taken you from Kent State. The Engagement Center team is made up of a small group of high achieving current students, known as Student Engagement Officers (SEOs), who have a passion for Kent State and are eager to get to know fellow Golden Flashes. SEOs receive specialized training to build their leadership and communications skills, preparing them to not only assist you on your call, but also for life after graduation as they enter the workforce.

Throughout the year, Student Engagement Officers focus on deepening lifelong bonds within the Kent State community. From checking in on new graduates to personally thanking donors, they remind alumni and friends that their Golden Flash family is rooting for them every step of the way.

Meet our Engagement Center staff and put a face to the name the next time you hear from a Student Engagement Officer.
