Giving Tuesday 2020

At Kent State, we continually strive to prioritize student success, ensure access and foster degree completion. Currently, our students need our support more than ever. Giving Tuesday, traditionally the Tuesday after Thanksgiving following Black Friday and Cyber Monday, is the unofficial, worldwide beginning to a season of philanthropic giving to non-profits. Kent State will launch its Giving Tuesday campaign on Nov. 9, transforming what had been a one-day fundraising initiative into an extended, nearly monthlong giving campaign supporting our students.

This year, Kent State’s Giving Tuesday campaign will include a planned giving component. For every planned gift commitment greater than $25,000 received from Nov. 1 – Dec. 1, the Kent State University Foundation will deposit $1,000 into the corresponding spendable fund. This allows you to take part in the excitement of Giving Tuesday and see the immediate impact of your gift.

This campaign always allows us to witness the generosity of thousands of Golden Flash family members coming together, and it is exceptional. Kent State’s Giving Tuesday will begin Nov. 9 and will run through 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 1. Stay tuned for more information from Kent State on all the Giving Tuesday efforts!
