Mission of the Council

Recent challenges we have all experienced have presented the university with the opportunity to re-evaluate our priorities and reflect on our core mission…Student Success. It is more important than ever to provide students with the financial, academic and community support they need from the moment they step on campus until the moment they step on stage for commencement.

We believe that now is the time to engage our volunteers to support the university’s priorities and initiatives. Kent State is committed to working with the Council of Leadership Boards to identify meaningful opportunities to engage our alumni and volunteers in initiatives that move both our students and the university forward.
