Ben Brody is a Massachusetts-based photographer, educator and author of “Attention Servicemember.” Brody photographed the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan for 15 years, first as a soldier tasked with making pieces for the military and thereafter as an independent photojournalist. “Attention Servicemember” was shortlisted for the Aperture/Paris Photo First Book Award and has received accolades from The New Yorker, Washington Post, New York Times and others. Brody received his Master of Fine Arts in photography from Hartford Art School in 2017.
