William S. Kent Council
Our great university celebrated its Centennial in 2010, and it is vital that we are well positioned to meet the challenges that await us in our second century of service.
Toward that end, we welcome lifetime donors of $25,000 through $99,999 to the William S. Kent Council, named after our first (and many would say our most visionary) donor. Additionally, we embrace former Lifetime Presidents Club members, who contributed $10,000 to $24,999 before 1997, as honorary members of the William S. Kent Council.
When cumulative gifts or pledges reach $100,000, the donor is received into the President's Medallion Society.
A striking membership pin announces the donor's standing as a member, or honorary member, of the William S. Kent Council. The pin symbolizes our gratitude for the donor's commitment to Kent State and announces to all the importance of providing support for our university. Kent Council members also receive a parking pass for all areas of campus and invitations to special events.
