Our team of advisors looks forward to talking with you about your academic plans and career goals leading to graduation and beyond.

Students interested in pursuing a degree, minor or certificate in public health at Kent State University's College of Public Health can schedule an advising appointment. On-campus advising appointments take place at Moulton Hall, and virtual appointments are available via phone or Microsoft Teams. Advising questions can also be directed to publichealth@kent.edu. Students should ensure that their contact information is updated in Flashline. 

Undergraduate and Graduate Students

KSU Navigate is a new student success platform designed to empower you to achieve your personal goals and academic success. KSU Navigate allows you to schedule and check-in for advising appointments. This new platform replaces the process previously used. KSU Navigate is available to students and staff via browser or the app store (Android and iOS).

Getting started with KSU Navigate is easy. Get the app and Get Started. 

  • Visit the KSU Navigate website to get started.
    • Download the KSU Navigate app for iOS or Android.
    • Access KSU Navigate on your mobile device or on a web browser.
  • On the kent.edu/ksunavigate website you can view:
    • How do I get started and get the app
    • How do I use this new tool (Video to get the app and schedule an appointment)

drop-in advising

Do you have a quick question or need immediate assistance with your current schedule? Our academic advisors hold in-person and virtual drop-in advising throughout the year.

The Spring 2026 drop-in advising schedule is:

  • Weeks 1-2 (January 12 -23, 2026): Monday-Friday: 9 am - 12 pm and 1- 4 pm
  • Weeks 3-13 (January 26, 2026 and beyond): Thursdays 10 am - 2 pm.

During drop-in advising times, you can come to Moulton Hall - first floor, or call 330- 6726500 to speak to the advisor on call.

Career Advising

The College of Public Health offers career services such as resume review and guidance, job interview advice and referrals for internships, applied practice experiences, job shadowing and job openings. Undergraduate and graduate students in need of career counseling can contact the Office of Public Health Practice and Partnership and schedule a virtual or in-person appointment with the Public Health Ambassadors.
