Iris Harvey

Iris Harvey is the president and CEO of Planned Parenthood of Greater Ohio (PPGOH). She served on the PPGOH Board of Directors since 2011 and became board chair in 2015. Harvey previously served as the vice president for University Relations at Kent State University where she was the chief strategist advising the university on advancing its brand, image, and reputation, in addition to highlighting its economic impact on Ohio communication. Likewise, she held a position with Citigroup and was the CEO of Marketing Strategies and Solutions, Inc., a firm she founded and operated for seven years while living in Japan. Harvey has volunteered as a board member with diverse groups of nonprofit organizations including Summa Health Foundation and Area Agency on Aging-Direction Home, Akron Canton. She is a member of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America Board of Directors, the Planned Parenthood Global Advisory Board, and an inaugural member of the Columbus Women’s Commission. Harvey earned both BS in business administration and an MBA from the University of Southern California. She also holds an Ed.S. degree from George Washington University.
