The College of Public Health welcomes Dave Day to Kent State this fall. Day is working part-time, helping with special projects, marketing, and communications. He retired after a long career in both commercial television (WAKR radio & TV) and public television (Channels 45 & 49), as well as fundraising for the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute, University of Akron, and Kent State. Day is also a professional musician--he plays piano, bass guitar, and trombone. He and his wife, Karen, live in Bainbridge and they love to travel. They have nine children, several grandchildren, three dogs, a bird, and a turtle. He is thrilled to be working with the College of Public Health.
