Karissa Wahl

Hi! My name is Karissa, and I’m a sophomore Public Health major with minors in psychology, disability studies, and community inclusion. I’m actively involved in several campus organizations, including Tri Sigma, the Public Health Student Alliance, the Pre-Occupational and Physical Therapy Club, Psi Chi, and Alpha Lambda Delta. Outside of school and my work with the Kent State of Well-Being, I enjoy crafting, scrapbooking, reading, hiking, and spending time with my cats. I am a Certified Peer Educator because I am passionate about connecting students with resources that help them build knowledge and skills across the Eight Dimensions of Wellness. My particular interests include organizational skills, empathetic leadership, and finding a sense of belonging in the communities you engage with. Sign up for a 1:1 and I can help you with knowledge, skills, and resources for your wellness journey.
