The School of Communication Studies at Kent State University celebrated the life of associate professor Dr. Rozell Duncan on Friday, Oct. 28. Dr. Duncan passed away prior to the start of the fall semester; her impact within the school and the university community was unparalleled. Colleagues, peers, former students, friends and family came together to share their memories of her.
The coursework and faculty in the School of Communication Studies at Kent State University provide opportunities for students to participate in in-class experiential or service-learning projects to apply the knowledge and skills learned in communication in a practical situation.
Communication Studies students, Kaitlyn Fridley, Erica Torre, Kyle Jones, Mary Betz and Victoria Humphreys make up the team of Lambda Pi Eta officers for the 2013-2014 school year.
Lambda Pi Eta is the National Communication Association's official honor society at four-year colleges and universities. Dr. Rozell Duncan, the faculty advisor for Lambda Pi Eta, recognizes the honor and importance of leadership in this organization.
