Professor Chris Banks Talks about Impeachment Process

Kent State University constitutional law professor, Chris Banks, Ph.D., recaps the impeachment inquiry hearings from Nov. 19 with WKYC lead anchor Russ Mitchell.
 
Banks teaches undergraduate and graduate courses ranging from American Politics to law, justice and society. His undergraduate instruction includes teaching courses on constitutional law, civil rights and liberties, the judicial process, American political theory, and American politics. Before receiving his doctorate, he practiced law in civil and criminal litigation.
 
He said in his interview with WKYC that he does not see the same impact now as he did with the impeachment 25 years ago and explains how he is not seeing outrage in his classes or across the country.
 
“This is a historic event that deserves a lot of attention,” Banks said.
