Performing Arts Center Announces Rescheduled Performances

The Performing Arts Center is following Kent State University’s coronavirus (COVID-19) preventative and proactive actions by rescheduling or canceling all events for the foreseeable future. We are following recommendations from state health authorities to limit large gatherings and practice physical distancing to slow transmission of the virus. We take these steps to ensure the health and safety of our patrons and to be proactive in an effort to prevent illness. The following events have been canceled:

  • A Cappella Live scheduled for March 18
  • Llama Llama Live scheduled for March 14
  • Wild Carrot scheduled for March 21
  • That Golden Girls Show: a puppet parody scheduled for March 24
  • The Tuscarawas Philharmonic’s concert Different Drums scheduled for April 4
  • An American in Paris scheduled for April 7

A full refund will be issued to all ticket holders for the canceled events.

Kent State University will continue to monitor the outbreak and will align its recommendations with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization and other city, state and federal agencies.
