The College of Education, Health and Human Services at Kent State University offers a Bachelor of Science degree program with a major in Integrated Health Studies. The program is interdisciplinary and involves a variety of academic areas both from the College of Education, Health and Human Services, as well as other departments at Kent State that deal with health and human services.

Health education is a social science that draws from the biological, environmental, psychological, physical and medical sciences to promote health and prevent disease, disability and premature death through education-driven voluntary activities.

Exercise science and exercise physiology are designed to promote the development of a healthy lifestyle and prepare its graduates for teaching exercise science and fitness professions. Students acquire knowledge of human movement, requisite skills and competencies in their area of specialization at the bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels.

Computer Science

COURAGE is a consortium of universities aimed at the transfer and free flow of high value education such as quality doctoral and graduate education among its member institutions. The consortium uses a peer-to-peer support model between institutions. It is pursing innovation in cross border higher education program models within the setup of transformational classic universities.

CENTER FOR GLOBAL CYBER INFRASTRUCTURE (GLOBAL CIRC) RESEARCH PROJECT: Global-CIRC is a unique collaboration network where highly specialized IT experts and engineers from Higher Educational Institutions (universities and RENs) around the world share advanced engineering know how in a peer-to-peer model to assist technically complex projects.
