LaunchNET Kent State
Kent State Entrepreneurship Support! LaunchNET Kent State is the hub for entrepreneurial thinking, innovative mindset, creative collaboration, and venture creation across campus.

LaunchNET advisors help Kent State entrepreneurs & innovators from any major—including students, alumni, faculty and staff—bring ideas, inventions, and businesses to life, through:

  • One-on-One Meetings
  • Events & Workshops
  • Connections to Community Resources
  • Competitions & Funding

The "Join LaunchNET" button will take you to the main NEOLaunchNET application.
When we receive your application, we will match you to an advisor in the KSU office, who will contact you via email to set up an initial appointment.

All meetings are free and confidential.

Walk the halls of some secondary private schools in Ohio and you will see students adorned in what appears to be typical school attire: striped skirts, traditional ties and stark white button-up oxfords.

The LaunchNET Student Launch Fund Grant is an opportunity for LaunchNET clients who are also full-time Kent State students to get grant funding (i.e., does not have to be paid back) for their businesses.

There are two tiers of funding available: Venture Creation (up to $500) and Venture Advancement (up to $5000). Meant for early-stage, start-up services, company creation, or prototyping, the different tiers have different application and reporting requirements.
