DI + FASHION: Accessibility Workshop

Utilizing the Design Innovation Hub maker space and the multiple tools that it has to offer, prospective and current students will work to solve a significant problem in fashion that we face today. How can we create accessible clothing for individuals with varying disabilities that negatively affect their daily lives?

Groups of students will collaboratively prototype, illustrate and design garments that can help alleviate the daily stressors that a person with disabilities may go through. This workshop is free and open to prospective and current students. A certification is awarded for the completion of this workshop. Space is limited to 30 students.
