BGV will introduce its newest program, called EXPLORE, in Kent. EXPLORE guides first-time entrepreneurs and early-stage business owners through the exploratory and ideation stage in order to validate a business idea.
EXPLORE classes are taught by successful local business owners and professionals.
Classes meet on Tuesdays from 6 pm to 9 pm at the Kent State University library. Free parking is available. View registration and class schedule.

Bad Girl Ventures (BGV) helps women build and sustain well-managed, profitable businesses by providing them with guidance, education and access to capital. Since 2011, BGV has educated more than 300 entrepreneurs, awarded more than $190,000 in loans and facilitated more than $800,000 in additional follow- on funding in Northeast Ohio.

Fall 2016 GSO will be held on Tuesday, August 23 for all new graduate students and on Wednesday, August 24 for new teaching assistants in the Kent Student Center from 10am-4pm. Newly admitted graduate students are strongly encouraged to attend GSO; however, new teaching assistants are required to attend both days.
