The Rural Scholars program works to connect middle schoolers and high schoolers living in Columbiana County to their local surroundings and beyond. This has never been more apparent than from a summer full of four separate week-long workshops, and an autumn full of different career exploration workshops. The Rural Scholars Program currently has 94 students enrolled, paired with 18 undergraduate mentors.

Maintaining wellness during the holidays can be a challenge. The busy holiday season can add a variety of stressors, ranging from unrealistic expectations to struggles with loneliness and loss.

Please join us for this timely lunch and learn from noon-1 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 13, in Heer Hall, Room 107. This session will focus on tools to help you prepare for any stressors associated with the holidays. You will learn to let go of unrealistic expectations, re-evaluate your traditions, develop family goals and adopt self-care techniques.
