COLLEGE OF THE ARTS
The Hugh A. Glauser School of Music at Kent State University offers programs leading to two undergraduate degrees for students who seek a high level of professional competence in instrumental music, vocal music, or composition or in music technology. Graduate programs in music lead to the Master of Arts, Master of Music or Doctor of Philosophy. All of these programs are accredited by the National Association of Schools of Music.

Mathematical Sciences

COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Kent State University offers undergraduate programs in mathematics, applied mathematics, statistics and mathematics courses used toward programs for future math teachers.

Marketing and Managerial Marketing

COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
Kent State University’s College of Business Administration offers a baccalaureate program called the Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree. Students with career interest in an area of marketing should pursue a B.B.A. degree with a major in marketing or managerial marketing. Students wanting to expand their knowledge even further can pursue graduate programs in the College of Business Administration Kent State.

Criminology and Justice Studies

COLLEGE OF ARTS AND SCIENCES
Kent State University’s Department of Sociology offers a four-year program leading to the Bachelor of Arts in criminology and justice studies, with a variety of concentrations as set forth below. A criminology and justice studies minor is also available. On the graduate level, the Department of Sociology offers the M.A. in Criminology and Criminal Justice, and an M.A. and Ph.D. in sociology (with the possibility of studying criminology and deviance).

Journalism and Mass Communication

COLLEGE OF COMMUNICATION AND INFORMATION
The School of Journalism and Mass Communication (JMC), one of four schools in Kent State’s College of Communication and Information (CCI), helps students discover the power of storytelling – the news story, the feature story, the multimedia story, the client’s story. And in the process, we help students discover their own brand stories: who they are, what unique skills they offer and what they want to do with their professional lives.

Interior Design

COLLEGE OF ARCHITECTURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN
Kent State University’s Interior Design program leads to a Bachelor of Arts degree. Competencies include fundamental design, design analysis, space planning, sustainability and programming, the design of all interior spaces and an understanding of other related aspects of environmental design. 

Honors College

SPECIAL STUDIES
The Honors College has been providing an enriched educational experience for undergraduate students with outstanding intellectual and creative ability since 1933. 

Open to students in any major offered by Kent State University, the college provides smaller sections of courses, individualized interaction with faculty through research and other projects, the option of residing in our living-learning community in the Stopher-Johnson complex, personal advising, and several other educational opportunities and enhancements.
