About Me
I grew up in Beaver Falls, PA, a small town outside of the Pittsburgh, PA area. I came to Kent State as a first-generation and out-of-state student, and today I'm a proud two-time Kent State alumna. I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies and a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration & Student Affairs.
My advice for prospective students is to keep an open mind and give yourself grace throughout your college search process. Stay curious, ask questions and take time to find your ideal college fit. Remember that college is an exciting time to discover new passions, interests and possibilities you may not have considered yet!
What I Love About Kent State
When I first visited Kent State, I immediately felt the support of our community and loved the beautiful campus. Throughout my time as a student, I continued to feel welcomed and supported. Kent State truly became my “home away from home!”
Fun Facts
• I studied abroad through Kent State’s Florence Summer Institute
• I love trying new workout classes and my current favorite is Pilates
