Ask yourself the big questions

What kinds of careers interest me? Which classes do I enjoy most? How can my talents make an impact on the world?

Keep your family in the loop about your college plans

Provide parent or guardian information to Kent State when you request information or sign up for an event.

Discover ways to earn college credit and get a head start toward your degree

Talk to your school counselor about Advanced Placement (AP), International Baccalaureate (IB), dual-enrollment or College Credit Plus (CCP) classes. In Ohio, you can also earn college credit by completing a career-technical education program.

All Kent State campuses are test-optional, but now is a good time to practice

Kent State doesn’t require you to submit ACT or SAT scores to be considered for admission, but if you plan to submit test scores to us or other schools, now is a good time to begin practicing.

Learn about college costs and financial aid
