Orientation sessions called Transfer Kent State (TKS) are offered for students entering in the summer or fall semesters from April through July with sessions offered for late admits in August. 

For students entering in the spring semester, orientation sessions called Destination Kent State (DKS) will be offered in November and December with a session offered for late admits in early January.

Orientation runs from approximately 8 a.m. to about 3 p.m.

If you plan to bring your parents or guests, they must be registered to attend. For each guest who is registered to attend, there will be a fee of $25 per person.

A continental breakfast will be provided at check-in. Then, you and your guests will enjoy lunch at one of our all-you-care-to-eat dining halls.
