Additionally, the college offers two certificates in teaching English as a foreign language and paralegal studies as well as master’s and doctoral degrees. The college is also home to multiple prestigious centers and institutes including the Brain Health Research Institute, Advanced Materials Liquid Crystal Institute, Institute for African American Affairs and New World Studies, Center for the Study of Gender and Sexuality and the Wick Poetry Center.
REAL-WORLD EXPERIENCE AND OPPORTUNITIES
The College of Arts and Sciences offers a number of opportunities for students to gain real-world experience. Faculty and professional academic advisors can help students locate internship opportunities.
