Dear Parents and Families of Future Flashes,
There have been a lot of changes going on recently as a result of COVID-19. I want to make sure finances are not preventing you from thinking about having your child attend Kent State University for August 2021 and ultimately fulfilling your dreams of a college degree for your child.
Kent State University is here to help you navigate the financial aid and scholarship process to reduce financial barriers so this dream can be a reality!
The Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships will be hosting a Virtual Financial Aid Night for students and their families to get all the financial aid information you need for the 2021-2022 academic year tonight, December 1 at 7 p.m.
We will go over the steps to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and discuss the financial aid process in general. Also, we will review the types of financial aid including information about scholarships, grants, loans and federal work-study. There will be time after the presentation for questions and answers.
We do hope you and your student can join us tonight and we look forward to having your student come to campus this fall!
Go Flashes!
